Starting in 1996 these systems have proven to have lighting fast paybacks and make coil cleaning a thing of the past. Replacement UV-C lights:When a UVC bulb is used for 1 year, the output drops by 15%, after 18 months the output drops by 25%, and if left in for 2 years the output is reduced by half or more. What's disappointing is some companies will warrant their UVC light for 2 years, and while techinically the light will still shine and there will be some output the facts are the facts (and over 90% of the bulbs are made by 1 manufacturer). Upper Air Irradiation:
First used nearly 100 years ago Upper-Air UVGI is a proven way to reduce the presence of airborne pathogens. It is so effecitve that indpendant studies show it to remove over 98% of the Influenza Virus from a room that uses Upper Air UVGI. Like the rest of these systems costs have come down and fixtures are treating bigger areas making inital costs lower than they've ever been for this technology.
Also growing in popularity, howver most of these systems are sold in the form of a UV robot and cost between $50,000 and $150,000 each. We are able to offer you the surface decontamination you need at significantly lower cost. Because of the nature of the UV robot, there is also significant shadowing so often times it is recommended to purchase TWO of them to do an adequate job - again our method all but eliminates shadowing ensureing proper application of UV-C light to the surfaces that need to be decontaminated.
